This is the Divine Spirit Source of a Golden Divine Dragon. Divine Dragon describes the cultivation realm of a Dragon with a true body of more than 10,000 zhang, which can display power superior to the average 9th Rank Open Heaven Realm cultivator. This particular Divine Dragon, as the 3rd of 5 Dragon Emperors in Dragon Clan’s ancient history, is considered to be among the strongest Dragons to ever exist. Due to a great battle in Ancestral Land, where he and the Phoenix Clan’s Ice Phoenix Empress had to sacrifice themselves, this Source disappeared from the Outer Universe, and somehow ended up on Tong Xuan Realm.
On Tong Xuan Realm, this Source became the foundation of the Dragon Phoenix Palace alongside the Ice Phoenix Empress's. The 3rd Order Saint Realm leaders of Dragon Phoenix Palace would then also call themselves "Dragon Emperor" and "Phoenix Empress" respectively. One day, it would end up accepting Yang Kai during his adventures in his home Small World, culminating in his eventual transformation into a pure Golden Dragon.[1]
Past[]
An Ink Giant Spirit God of the Outer Universe once made war within Ancestral Land. This unrivaled existence of the Outer Universe slew many High Rank Open Heaven Realm comparable Divine Spirits as easily as stepping on ants. Desperate, the 3rd generation Dragon Emperor and Phoenix Empress sacrificed themselves and their greatest Sacred Objects, along with those of 14 other powerful Divine Spirit Clans, to seal this nearly invincible being within a section of Ancestral Land. The Dragon Emperor and Phoenix Empress were then cast into the Void, and their sources were feared to be lost forever.
Abilities[]
As a Divine Spirit Source, the Golden Divine Dragon Source allows one to develop their bloodline to potentially become a Divine Spirit. However, this process is extremely difficult, and the more powerful the Source, the harder it is to refine it. This Golden Divine Dragon Source is among the most powerful in the awesome history of the Dragon Clan, and likewise has a strong suppression effect on the vast majority of Dragon Sources.
Yang Kai, in the Dragon Pool, would eventually refine this Source to the point that he sheds his humanity to become a real Golden Ancient Dragon.[1]
