Xiao Hei is the Earth Dragon Descendant Yang Kai encounters and tames in Great Ruins Boundary.
Appearance[]
In his true body, Xiao Hei appears as a 30 zhang Earth Dragon with mucinous skin and corrosive acid dripping from his mouth.[3] In his human form, he appears as a little boy, and maintains the corrosive acid dripping from his mouth.
Personality[]
With Yang Kai, Xiao Hei has a child-like and innocent personality.
Background[]
Upon first meeting Xiao Hei, Yang Kai supposes he holds power no worse than Great Ruins Boundary allows, which falls just under the Open Heaven Realm.
History[]
Scarlet Flood Dragon[]
The Earth Dragon Descendant first meets Yang Kai while the latter is confronted by Emperor Heaven, a group of Emperors who have taken advantage of Great Ruins Boundary's suppression to oppose any Open Heavens they find. Easily submitted to Yang Kai's Ancestral Dragon Source, the Earth Dragon Descendant helps him to drive off Emperor Heaven. He then takes Yang Kai, Yue He, and some other acquaintances of Yang Kai's with him to Crouching Dragon Mountain so that Yang Kai can help him to reclaim it from a powerful Scarlet Flood Dragon.
The Earth Dragon Descendant immediately engages in battle with the Scarlet Flood Dragon. Yang Kai eventually submits both Dragon Descendants to his will, and has them drive off some Thunder Light disciples, who coveted the Dragon treasures scattered throughout the mountain. Yang Kai then finds a massive Earth Big Dragon corpse in the depths of the mountain. Yang Kai would acquire the Dragon Bead of this corpse to immediately condense into his Dao Seal.[4] After condensing the bead, Yang Kai refines some Dragon Blood Pills for Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei.[5]
Yuan Magnetic Divine Light[]
Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei would stay in Yang Kai's Six Fated Paths Bag until he arrived at Yuan Magnetic Divine Mountain. Xiao Hei would help Yang Kai by digging underground to explore the mountain for resources while Xiao Hong would assist him in fending of Thunder Light once again. Heavily injured in the victory over Thunder Light, Xiao Hong would pursue them while Xiao Hei uncovers a spring of Yuan Magnetic Divine Light. Yang Kai would then explore the mountain, after coming into conflict with Sword Pavilion, and gains an absolutely massive harvest. Xiao Hei and Xiao Hong, though somewhat injured, are left behind to guard Guo Zi Yan and the other men of Yang Kai's as they continue to collect more resources.
Escape[]
Guo Zi Yan, his men, Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei were all caught off guard by an alliance of Sword Pavilion and Thunder Light at Yuan Magnetic Divine Mountain after Yang Kai left. Xiao Hei immediately escapes under ground. As a powerful Earth Dragon Descendant, the alliance has no way to catch him. Eventually, Xiao Hei arrives safe and sound in Scarlet Star City
Freedom[]
Xiao Hei and Xiao Hong would continue to stay around Scarlet Star City where they are known as Yang Kai's pets. Though Xiao Hong in particular has a grudge against Lu Xue, she eventually accepts her presence after she joins Yang Kai. Eventually, Yang Kai is forced into becoming the Bearer of Zhu Jiu Yin, and the Dragon Descendants retain their station within Scarlet Star City until Yang Kai returns from Primordial Land before the closing of Great Ruins Boundary. Unwilling to leave their new master, Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei are taken into Yang Kai's Innate Spirit Fruit space. Here, they are freed from the shackles of Great Ruins Boundary along with Zhu JIu Yin.[6]
Void Land[]
In Void Land, Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei eventually come under the tutelage of Bi Xi, the massive and extremely powerful Dragon Descendant upon which Void Land resides. Bi Xi helps them, along with Dragon Island's Dragon Clan, to strengthen their bloodlines for a time. Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei eventually gain the ability to transform shape, with Xiao Hong taking the form of a little girl and Xiao Hei that of a little boy. When the Ancestral Land Phoenix Clan's Hong Hu comes to Void Land to take the Divine Spirits away,[7] Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei would stay behind with Bi Xi.
Over the next 1,000 years, Xiao Hong and Xiao Hei would eventually reach 6th Rank Open Heaven Realm-comparable strength.
